Ship’s Honour
 
On Friday March 15, 2019, our Cadets (335 RCSCC Calgary) had the honour of presenting the National President's Scroll of Appreciation to the HMCS Calgary / NCSM Calgary.  Commanding Officer Cdr Saltel CD, the Executive Officer LCdr MacIntosh CD and Coxswain CPO1 Lee accepted the award along with National President's coins on behalf of the ship's company.
 
"The Navy League of Canada (Patron - Her Majesty The Queen) National President's Scroll of Appreciation was presented to HMCS Calgary.  This is in grateful appreciation of the phenomenal and outstanding support to the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Program.  This serves to highlight the remarkable partnership between the Department of National Defense and the Navy League of Canada while providing opportunity to reinforce the incredible bond that exists within the Navy Family"
 
We have the utmost appreciation for the crew of HMCS Calgary for the time, effort and dedication put forth in ensuring cadets had an amazing week while always being willing to teach our youth at any time!  We are honoured to have the HMCS Calgary as our affiliated unit!  The impact on cadets this week was nothing short of phenomenal.  Bravo Zulu to every member of the ships company that made the trip a success!
 
A special thank you to the Royal Canadian Navy for providing the opportunity to have cadets onboard your ships and giving them the best seamanship classroom on the planet!
